This day I awaken to reality ,the reality of myself being "XX" and not "XY"..and why not "XY" . Atleast I would have been in the safe heavens.

Minor raped 6 year old ..from less than 1 to 80 above..for these cruel monsters, "age is just a number" ,I suppose. Cheers to the twisted judicial system and the awaited police reforms !!

I today face my vulnerability after encountering the free speech and right to life debate . Do I really have these so called rights in this false democracy??

Why should I save my girl child..??
Beti padhao ! rather focus on beti bachao beti ladhao ! Skill her in all the judo karate boxing classes .Oh !! From the birth itself or before that in the womb ??

Girl should be an asset not a liability rather its us who are making her a liability by promoting the mentality of "dekh lenge ise " the girls asking boyfriend husband father or brother to kill or screw up another girl for much hyped "badla" or the guys getting up to "iski aukaat kya hai" after getting their egos bruised !!

The menace of substance abuse has engulfed our society. Cultivated and produced at a large scale within India, drugs are deep rooted in the nerves of ours.
It is more an ignominy when 65% of our population is under 35. We stand at the edge of demographic dividend but the “kick” can kick back the fastest growing economy of the world.


Rising unemployment, farm distress, rural urban migration, stressed relations, increasing terrorism and the conspiracy to destroy our youth along with lack of political will is all about the game.

A way to escape consciousness, to escape ourselves is degrading generations. Taking up every nook and corner of our streets it is veining through vendors, rickshaw pullers, students, street children and whom not and will continue if we don’t control the porous borders of ours.

Blame the geographical location of the country, blame the ignorant society, blame the mafia but the question stands who will be accountable for all the damage at the end… “powder ki laanio ka rakhega kon khayal” ?

rich or poor..afterall a human..and what when humanity is lost ??

As happened in the case "NIRBHAYA" cruelty crossed the limits when the victim fought back.. whose fault is it..many say the women when she wear wrong clothes or when she roam around...
There is no place for "she" even in the urbanised society..
How do you forget the tribal people where the women folk wear no clothes on the upper body ..remain naked ..the Northeast areas where there is no place for patriarchy ..where women only hold command over the domestic and undomestic chores....

Is equality denied ..are all the rights of freedom denied for us...
The accused are convicted for their crime.. is it only about justice..
there is no shame no remorse seen after the crimes that take place.. criminals are no more frightened of the moral and civil codes or by the law laid down..

Is poverty so deeply entrenched that people have to resort to henious acts..
We claim the rich tradition of ours .. that has no place for respect of women..the one who bears pain ..fight with death just to give birth to another monster in the already huge population..

Let the change begin..its not just the laws, the government or the NGOs that will bring the change..
There's huge need for changing the mindset.. facing the reality.. that when a girl steps out of her house.. thats not even safe now.. so when she steps out of her safety zone.. its not only her responsibility to be cautious..rather men should take the lead to ensure her safety.. not by the physical means ..violence..

He must be strong willed and highly moral not to treat her just as an object.. besides all the anger anguish pity and shamae..the question still lies there..

As women...are we safe.. are we independent.. can we chase our dreams...

if the answer lies no..

roshni ke ghar andhera..

रौशनी के घर अँधेरा ....

आज दीपावली है। … रोशनी का पर्व ... आज मैं उसी रास्ते से घर  जा रहा हूँ.....

रास्ते  में एक दुकान से दीए भी खरीदने हैं ....

रोज़ उस दिए वाले के पास बहुत खरीददार होते हैं ... यह आदमी रोज़ मिटटी ला कर मेहनत से दिए बनाता  है...

मैं वहा पहुचता हूँ ....और ये क्या मैं क्या देखता हूँ .....


आज वो आदमी अकेला दुकान  पर बैठा सुबक रहा है ....  
उसकी आखों में आंसूं हैं  माथे पर शिकन और चेहरे पर  उदासी। 

मेरे पूछने पर वो अपना दर्द बयान करता है ..

 वो कहता है के वो मजबूर है उसकी किस्मत के हाथों ... 


उसकी बेटी की शादी है दो दिन बाद
 और उसके हाथ खाली .... 
पैसे नहीं दिए तो  बेटी की शादी नहीं होगी ....




रोज़ वहां भीड़ होती तो है खरीददारी के लिए लेकिन १० का दिया लोग 5 या 7 रुपए में ले कर जाते हैं 

वो औरतें उससे झगड़ती हैं , उसे रुलाती हैं , बुरा भला कह कर 3  रूपए बचा कर इठलाती हैं ...

वही जो १० का दिया १०० में शोरूम से खरीदने से नहीं हिचकती लेकिन यहाँ गरीब को रुलाती हैं ...


जो रौशन करता है दूसरे का संसार आज उसी के घर अँधेरा छाया है ....

मैं उसके सारे दिए खरीद लेता हूँ।  उसे लोन दिला कर उसकी मदद करता हूँ। 


उसकी बेटी की शादी तो हो जाती है  ...उसकी दुकान भी अब शोरूम बन चुकी है बैंक  से ...
आज वही दिया वो 100 का बेचता है जो कभी १० का हुआ करता था ....



वही लोग वही दिया लेकिन एक चीज़ बदल चुकी है .....उसकी सोच ..उसे समझ आ गया पैसे की कीमत है इंसान के हुनर की नहीं और इंसान की तो बिलकुल ही नहीं ..

वही लोग आज उससे इज़्ज़त से पेश आते हैं .... अब वो गरीब जो नहीं रहा ...


don't let such things happen to the less privilages ones.. as not everyone gets an angelic person and a loan from bank easily..

help them instead of manipulating and torturing them ..

kindly do not bargain with such small scale manufacturers and vendors as they dont have other side business to cope up with thier losses and please the customers...

lets celebrate this diwali with gratitude .....happy diwali..!!
